While we have many requests for additional information, the most common has been for survey reports with regard to the mineral content of the mine.   To this end, we felt it was important to describe the due-diligence that occurred from an interested party.   Five months ago we were approached by Barrick Mining, who wanted to drill core samples and do other geological tests on the 20 acre property.  They promised if we let them on the property to do testing, they would share whatever reports were generated from their investigation.  They performed their survey over the course of a month.   Three weeks ago we were informed they would not be proceeding with the transaction due to a freeze on capital acquisitions stemming from the need to raise capital to unwind gold hedges  …. raised via the offering of common stock.   This can all be verified in the public domain via press reports about Barrick in the financial media. 

The person, who promised to provide the reports as a condition of being let on the property, does not return our calls or emails.   We do not expect to be provided with a report from Barrick, but this tells us that they found something positive, but could not act due internal company issues.  As a potential buyer for the Bonanza King, I would highly suggest that you do due diligence of your own if you have the capacity to do so.  I can not imagine Barrick, being one of the world’s largest mining companies, would have any problem telling us the mine is worthless if they came to that conclusion—what they did not say or do, speaks volumes from where we sit.  Naturally, anyone who does tests on the property will have to indemnify the current owners through bonding and other routine protections.  Please let us know if there is interest in proceeding on this basis.
